A little story about what happens when I leave Nana in charge.

Today I had a doctor's appt., so I left Blue in the capable hands of her Nana. Off they went to go and visit our horse, Cloud. Nana got involved in a conversation and then decided to check on Blue, who was playing in Cloud's stall. There she was in all of her two year old glory, sitting in Cloud's stall playing with manure. I know this is exactly the kind of thing every mother dreams of hearing when she gets home. After I was assured that Blue was properly hosed off and disinfected, all was forgiven. Ah well, something to laugh at later in life.

That is too FUNNY!!!! I love your mom!!!! I can just see her giggling while she told you what happened!!!! You know this story might scare the boys away...at least when Blue is older!?!

Hugs!

Wait...if it will keep the boys away later in life. Hmmmmmmm? Daddy may have to reconsider his position on this matter. Thanks Robin!

So, did you hose her off with Purell, just to make sure?

Glad you are feeling better!

This all natural form of 'play dough', referred to by the name 'road apple', has been useful as an alternative to pricey store bought product in rural situations. It is pliable (easy to mold), totally biodegradable and depending on who is not watching, fun to play with. It does have the added benefit of allowing you to have 'alone time' and also future conversation material. Nana rocks!
