A little story about what happens when I leave Nana in charge.

Today I had a doctor's appt., so I left Blue in the capable hands of her Nana. Off they went to go and visit our horse, Cloud. Nana got involved in a conversation and then decided to check on Blue, who was playing in Cloud's stall. There she was in all of her two year old glory, sitting in Cloud's stall playing with manure. I know this is exactly the kind of thing every mother dreams of hearing when she gets home. After I was assured that Blue was properly hosed off and disinfected, all was forgiven. Ah well, something to laugh at later in life.

It's no good.

Due to high blood pressure I have been on home rest for a week. I had very severe Preclampsia
last pregnancy during the end, so they are just being precautious. No good for me.

It's that time again!

Whenever my hair is long enough I donate it to Locks of Love. Usually it takes me a day or so to get used to it, but its definitely a great cause. I told Blue that I was donating my hair and got very little response. Later she came up to me and said, "Mummy, don't eat your hair!" =)

I had another sonogram today!

I needed to get another sonogram, because the pictures of the spine and heart were not clear enough last time. The baby looked so cute kicking and punching me like crazy. It now weighs a whopping 1.5 lbs. The difference in size in just the last three weeks has been amazing. My placenta looks like its moving up to where it should be, which is great. The technician checked the sex again and its almost 100 percent definitely one. Of course I didn't ask which one. What you are about to look at is the baby's face staring right at you. I turned the sonogram on its side so that the baby is upright. This is the baby at a profile. It is staring straight up.
The baby yawned! =)

Here are the legs. It's crossing at the ankles. The feet are to the right, body to the left.

And last you can see a little foot. I love the little toes.

Blue is a woman now.

I finished training my client today, and went back to get Blue from childcare. When I get in the door I was told that my daughter was caught kissing a boy! SHE'S TWO! Apparently, she was standing against the wall and little Kaleb came up and planted one right on her. Amal the childcare lady said she was so relaxed (eww puke), and then when he walked away she wiped the kiss off her mouth. Everybody was cooing and saying how cute that was. Me, no. I was discussing the benefits of not giving it up easily to boys. So new family rule: no kissing boys. Blowing kisses are great. Hugs are fantastic. And I have my eye on that little Kaleb. uh huh.

Think good thoughts

Today was also the AFP test to see if the baby has Down's Syndrome, spina bifida etc. It takes a week to get the results back so it is a time of great stress for me. Send good thoughts in your mind for my tummy.

Baby info

Sorry my computer is weird right now, so the blog posted before I was done. The first, second, and third picture are of the baby. You can see the eyes, hands and body. The fourth picture is the sex of the baby. D and I didn't find out, but we have our guesses. =) So look and guess. I'm curious to hear who thinks what. The baby is currently 12 oz. and It's growth shows that I am 19 wks and 4 days. Maybe it will be early. The heart rate is 156 bpm. My placenta is low so I have to have another sonogram later to make sure everything is fine. I have been assured that this is normal though. Enjoy!

The big sonogram was today!

Hee Hee

Ella made me laugh all day. (she's smushing her face into the bucket top)

1) I dressed her and she said. "I look beautiful. I like it!"

2) After work, we walked out to the Jeep. I put her in her carseat and she said, "Hot, hot." Then she proceeded to blow on the Jeep like you would do if your soup was too hot. =)

3) Tonight when I changed her diaper, her bum was quite red. She said, "It's hurts. Quick Mommy lotion!"

She cracks me up, becaus eI never know what is going to come out of her mouth.
