We shall call it Bubba

I'm still in a state of shock I think. We had a sonogram today to see if my placenta was higher (it was). A lot of the sonogram was very clinical. Lots of measurements were taken and a clear shot of the spine still had to be seen. At the end we found out how big the baby was measuring and the estimated due date. This child weighs 5 lbs 10 oz. ! I couldn't believe it. I think I created the largest babies know to man. Blue was 8 lb. 9 oz. and will look like a preemie! Still getting over that the tech gives the next piece of info. The due date is now estimated at Dec. 5th. That is 20 days earlier. In all fairness at this late in the game, the baby could just be very large and still come out late Dec or early Jan. even. If this due date is correct, I will having the baby in just over a month people. Holy cow! That is unbelievable to me. These two pictures are of the baby face and body. The head is on the right You can see little hands and feet and body. You can clearly see an eye in the second picture.

This last picture is of my giant baby's foot. It looks large to me, but of course if its 22 lbs at delivery its going to need a stronger threshold to keep it upright. =)

Pumpkin carving time!

Last night we had so much fun carving pumpkins. Here is Blue taking in a little Barney before dinner. Dinner
These pictures just make me smile. Blue found something hysterical about the cupcake she was eating. They were of course Halloween themed.

Now the only good shot of the pumpkins being carved. Blue had a mister potato head to work with and a little pumpkin for stickers. Pictures of the finished products will come soon.

Blue's Halloween's from beginning to now.

She started out being a peanut. She was only 3 and a half months old We did a costume change though when it was time for a nap. So, a cute little pumpkin!
Next she was an elephant. I loved this costume!

And now she proudly is representing the crustacean family as my favorite lobster.

BOO!!! Its costume time!

The lobster stalks its prey....

quick break for dancing....

The new baby wanted to dress up this year too.

The jack-o-lantern seemed fitting

D, the Nascar fan, M, the carrier of a giant pumpkin, and Blue, in all her lobster glory.

Rubber Ducky, you're the one.....

Blue and I had so much fun in the big girl tub instead of her little tub. We played with tons of toys and letters at Nana's house. It wasn't scary at all. In fact, I couldn't get her out of the water. =) I see an aquatic future for her.

Blue meets a clown the the first time.

Well, it was Celebrate Women Day at the gym and so a variety of services were provided for free. Catered lunch, masseuse, brow waxing, body fat testing and so on. When Blue and I walked into child care, to our surprise there was Ginger Snap the Clown! Blue had absolutely no idea what to make of this. She hid behind my leg (not like her) and just stared. I worried that it might just be too much for her so I set her up with some toys and the child care lady and went to train a few clients. Two hours later I went back in the room and what do I see? Blue covered in body paint, holding a new beach ball and a giant balloon cat dancing all around. I guess she adjusted! It was cute to see having such a great time.

Happy Anniversary to D and M. Number 3!

It was such a nice anniversary this year. D took me to Cache Creek Casino (much closer than Las Vegas) and we stayed in a giant suite. The next day (Oct. 16 our actual anniversary) D had a retired judge drive to the casino and remarry us in front of the fountains. Much fun. For those of you that don't know. D and I get married every year. Each time it's different. 1st - formal, 2nd - gothic/arabian, 3rd - Elvis officiated, and than this one. Who knows what next year will bring.
