We're back from Toronto

Gramma's funeral was both heartbreaking and lovely, but I think that she would have been pleased. So many people came and spoke about wonderful memories with her. I was lucky that My very close friend Katie watched Blue during the service so that I could give my full attention to what was going on. The neat thing about this trip was it was a chance for Blue to see her east coast cousins. In order above we have Zoe, Blue, Andrew, Hannah and Ryan.
My brother, John, brought his new game system Nintendo Wii. It was a lot of fun for the whole family because you get physically involved in the games. Here is Papa and Hannah in a boxing match. My brother is coaching us through it.

Nana against me. Oh ya! Actually Nana kicked my butt.

My sister Joanne and brother in law Marc getting full comic relief.

Nana basking in her domination over the game.

Blue, tired but well behaved (whew!) , on the way home.

Beautiful roses sent by my friend Robin in honor of my Gramma. Thanks Robin!

A smile through the tears.

Blue had a dirty diaper tonight It was so bad that I got within ten feet of her and said; "you stink!" Blue than ran around the house yelling' "I stink. I stink." She was so matter-of-fact that I burst out laughing. Sometimes she just seems to know when I need to laugh. =)

Happy Easter!

Waking up to a bunch of chocolate was I think the best surprise Blue has gotten to date! Then it was off to church and then breakfast of hot cross buns and easter eggs.

After church Blue got to do not one but two Easter egg hunts! One was at Nana and Papa"s house. Blue went huntin' for wabbits. The other was at Grandma and Grandpa's house. A special course just for her (she is the littlest so she would have been dominated) filled with lots of goodies. Here is D helping her navigate..
Papa is always there to help Blue with how things work. They have a very special bond.

Grandma can do no wrong in Blue's eyes. Lots of hugs and kisses (and a little chocolate cake). Grandma made Easter very special for Blue.

Grandpa and Blue have the funniest relationship. She is completely drawn to him. She will constantly go over just to hug him or tap the arm of the chair. I'm sure he doesn't mind. =)

The team photo. Blue's cousins on this coast. In order form left to right we have Blue, Carrick, Patrick, and Brenna. Bren and Blue are especially close. Happy Easter everyone!

Watermelon Fashionista - I love this dress on her!

She is holding her cheek because I told her to be cute and this was her interpretation.
Blue has a new shoe fetish where she has to try on everyone's shoes.

Pooh Bear always get top priority to Blue.

Wishful thinking wanting to play outside.
